This two-day workshop offers a deep dive into the art and craft of writing and selling scripts for film and TV. In this intense but fun weekend, you will be taken through a concrete step-by-step process that includes everything from creating and writing a scene, structuring the script, building characters, and creating great film speak (dialogue), to marketing and selling your screenplay. You will discover many techniques and approaches available nowhere else, and you will also be given the necessary tools to help complete and sell your film or teleplay.

About the Instructor:
Rick Reichman graduated from the University of Southern California with an MFA in Professional Writing—Emphasis Writing for Film & TV. He has optioned two feature screenplays, produced several documentaries and training films, and written two award-winning books on screenwriting.
His students have sold scripts to: Warner Brothers, Columbia Studios, Fox, HBO, Showtime, PBS, and all the major networks. They have also sold teleplays and/or been on staff at: Home Improvement, Roseanne, The Nanny, Cupid, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Xena—Warrior Princess, The Mentalist, Still The King, and Person of Interest, and others.
