Lit Mag League: September

Launched in January 2016, our Lit Mag League is a community of readers and writers who meet every other month to discuss a recent issue of a literary magazine. We seek to cultivate a community of readers who appreciate, discuss, and digest literary magazines as relevant—and valuable—cultural artifacts. For each meeting, the Lit Mag League will select a literary magazine and gather at the moderator’s home to talk about the fiction, poetry, and design aesthetics of that issue.

We will ask: What writing styles are being published? What aesthetic governed the magazine’s curation? What stories and poems are in conversation with our own lives? In addition to discussing the magazine, the Lit Mag League will hear from editors and contributors of esteemed journals like Gulf Coast, Tin House, Five Points, and more. Drinks and snacks provided!

Our January, March, and May, and July meetings have sold out quickly!
