The Magic of Reverse Outlines

When you've been staring at a manuscript for too long, it's easy to lose sight of the project as a whole and the steps you need to take for revision. In this session, we'll go over the basics of how to create a "reverse outline" from any kind of draft, look at a few existing outlines from published essays and stories, and leave room for you to start your own reverse outline (if you choose to bring in a draft).

Yurina Yoshikawa is a writer, editor, and writing instructor who moved to Nashville in 2017 after ten years of living in NYC. She received her BA in philosophy from Barnard College and MFA in fiction from Columbia University, where she taught undergraduate writing.
