Whatever the genre, whether reading silently or aloud, the sounds created by the words and sentences together can powerfully affect us as readers on a subconscious level. The sound of words can actually add or detract from the meaning of the words themselves. Come join us as we read authors who are expert ‘audio engineers,’ and learn how we can all capitalize on sound effects in our writing.
