In this three-hour class, we'll be reading and talking about ways in which you can draw your inspiration from fairy tales and folk tales. Whether you write fantasy or realism these stories can offer a magic bean or two to your work. Come ready to play and to learn, and with a favorite tale in mind. You will leave with the beginnings of a new story that is all your own. Open to writers of all levels.

“Rowan was a wonderful instructor, very clear in her communication and gracious in answering questions. Her suggestions and feedback were incredibly helpful, both in the work of mine that she read and in the exercises she introduced that I can use in the future. I would definitely take a class with her again.”
