From "what was that loud noise?" to "why is there a detour" to "wonder what they paid for that building?" and a lot more. Find the facts and then shape them into story that answers the question for yourself and your social channels.

Note: This class is scheduled to take place in-person at Porch HQ. You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate, and we will enroll a maximum of 8 participants. Masks are not required at this time, though we will revisit this policy as needed. Check our website and this listing for details before you attend class.

Nicki Pendleton Wood is a journalist, author, editor (and clinician) in Nashville who believes that writing should be fun and functional. A veteran of newspaper journalism, cookbook editing and online reporting, her lively writing was profiled in the Wall Street Journal. She has taught English in England, along with media studies, which she also taught in the U.S. She’s that guy on social media who knows stuff.
