In this intensive poetry workshop, each participant will send two poems in advance, and the group will inspire each poet to return to the work and submit it for publication. We’ll think like editors for the evening, offer our closest attention, and suggest ways the poems can reach their readers. Feedback might focus on first and last lines, the poem’s music, discovery or inquiry in the poem, and necessity. This workshop is open to all writers who are interested in turning their dreams of an audience for their poems into reality, but please do plan to submit full drafts of two poems in advance.
