Are you interested in writing short stories but having trouble getting started? Are you a seasoned story writer hoping to experiment with different forms?

In this four-week short story boot camp, we’ll read examples of a wide range of stories—from first-person tales and those with unreliable narrators to stories with unusually large casts and ones whose authors play with time. Then we'll try our hand working in those varied formats. Writers will leave this generative workshop with drafts of four stories and a game plan for revision.

Use code EARLYBIRD at checkout for 20% off by December 8!

Lucas Schaefer is a writer based in Austin. His debut novel, THE SLIP, will be published by Simon & Schuster. His work has appeared in One Story, The Baffler, Slate and elsewhere. Follow him on Twitter or Instagram @LucasESchaefer.
