The Porch is a proud co-sponsor of Internationally celebrated author Colum McCann's visit to Cumberland University as part of the Cordell Hull Peace Forum.
McCann will explore the concept of peace through storytelling in a socially-distanced evening reading of his latest novel "Apeirogon", which chronicles the true story of two men who came together in shared grief to find brotherhood.
The reading will be followed by a moderated discussion "From Enemies to Brothers" featuring Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan broadcast directly from Israel and Palestine to discuss their story.
The event is free and open to the public! Parnassus Books will be selling McCann's latest novel, "Apeirogon", on site.
