Do you freeze up every time you need to promote your writing on social media? Are you being told to do things like make reels and join TikTok despite the fact that you don’t know how and no one can prove it works? Good news; Kim can help! With a focus on Instagram, we'll walk you through what has been proven to work and how you can realistically build it into your schedule.

In this workshop, participants will learn how often to post, when to post, what to post about, examples of pictures and graphics, as well as best practices for getting good engagement. We’ll also talk about reels, BookTok, Twitter (now X), as well as Bluesky and Threads. Come with an open mind and leave with a social strategy!

What Our Students Say

"Kim did an excellent job of demystifying a subject I felt intimidated by, and providing concrete tips I can use to make posting on social media more fun!"

"Kim provided amazing insight into how authors can best utilize social media, and helpful tips that I will be able to take away and use. She also gave lots of space for interacting and asking questions, which I greatly appreciated!"
