After decades as a book editor, I’m still in awe of novelists! What you do is courageous. It takes grit. It takes skill. It takes faith. It’s miraculous, really.
While a finished manuscript is wonderful, it’s not the end. Every manuscript must be edited before publication. For many authors, the prospect of an edit can feel scary.
For me, editing is an act of love. When author and reader choose to step into a covenant of empowered vulnerability, a sort of second miracle happens.
Join me as we explore my editorial point of view. I’ll challenge conventional thinking about editorial process, illuminating how this process can be satisfying, even joyful, freeing your writing to be all it can be.

"Ami was so inspiring! Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a true mix of information and community. I entered the Porch house, a bit disheartened, and left excited again."
"Great class! Ami provided a supportive environment to learn about editing."
