This generative craft class explores how photography can transform visual storytelling in fiction. We’ll consider how images can guide a story, and how composition and light can shape voice, character, and point of view on the page. Through writing prompts and class discussion, we’ll engage with hybrid monographs as well as the work of Curran Hattleberg, Sally Mann, Tina Barney, Alec Soth, Joy Williams, and more.
