What does it mean to write a true story? In this class, we’ll push the limits of what our imaginations can do with a true story. We’ll look at crossword puzzles, erasures, and other artful examples of a 'hermit crab’ essay. Be sure to bring your imagination and a desire to think outside the box for these fun experiments!

We'll be meeting on Zoom for this virtual workshop. When you sign up, you'll receive a confirmation email that contains the link for our call.

Alex Clark is a queer poet, essayist, and multimedia artist from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He has an MFA from Northern Michigan University. He has received a Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize nomination and was runner up in Booth’s 2017 Nonfiction Pop Up contest.
