Calling all creatures of the night! In this fiction workshop, we’ll examine what makes scary stories frightening and practice different ways to scare our readers. Learn about things like suspense, world-building, character creation, and creative word choice, all while having fun inventing creepy ghosts and monsters.

This introductory free class will be led by Porch Youth Program Director Joe Kane at the Inglewood Branch, Nashville Public Library. (Writing Scary Stories will also be offered on October 24th for youth Grades 7-9.)
