This advanced-level fiction workshop is focused solely on feedback of you and your peers’ work. Using a workshop model where you, the writer, guides the discussion, you will receive thoughtful and considered feedback on up to 20 pages of fiction. Your submission can be a single short story, up to 3 flash fiction pieces, or pages from a novel-in-progress. Throughout the six weeks, you’ll also participate in craft discussions, read short craft essays, and discuss writing motivation and strategies. End your writing year on strong footing, ready to bounce into your 2027 writing goals!
Lacey N. Dunham is the author of The Belles (2025), named a Best Book of 2025 by Library Journal and Crime Reads, and the forthcoming Fall of the House of Graystone (2027), both from Atria/S&S. Dunham is a Poets & Writers 2025 Writer to Watch and has received fellowships from the Elizabeth George Foundation, the DC Arts Commission, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and Catapult. A queer and low-income first-generation college graduate of Hollins University, she believes in the necessity of creating equity, access, and welcoming environments for people traditionally excluded from literary spaces.
