This class is all about getting words onto the page. We will attempt to churn out at least 10 pages a week during this 4 week course so that by the end, you'll have ~40 pages worth of a first draft! We will also look at different methods (pantsers vs. plotters) and how to get the strongest start to your novel so you'll have the momentum to follow it through to the end!

In-Class Writing Lift: Light

What Our Students Say

"Lauren gave me clear, actionable, supportive feedback every step of the way. She was generous in sharing her experience as a professional novelist. I emerged from this workshop with a much clearer vision of how I could improve my manuscript in a major way."

"I’d finished the first few drafts of my novel and then thought 'now what?' This course on revision was so helpful in improving my story, and the last class about finding an agent was so helpful. Loved Lauren and this class!"

"This class opened up a completely new way of thinking and writing for me. I would highly recommend this class and Lauren to anyone working on revision."
