Nonfiction thrives on honesty, courage, and daring. This one-day class invites you to write boldly and authentically, whether you’re crafting a personal essay, memoir, or experimental nonfiction piece. Using inspiring examples and generative prompts, we’ll explore how vulnerability and risk-taking can elevate your work. You’ll leave with new tools to uncover deeper truths and write with clarity and conviction. This class is open to all writers ready to take creative chances.

Cara Lynn Albert is a writer from Florida. Her work has been published in TriQuarterly, The Florida Review, New Ohio Review, Bat City Review, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA degree in creative writing from the University of Colorado Boulder. Cara currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
