Neurodivergent writers often navigate—and reshape—the rules we’re taught to follow. In this welcoming, lightly structured session, poet Nathan Spoon invites participants to explore writing through a different lens: one that embraces drift, wonder, and permission. Using a poetry-based rearrangement activity as the starting point, we’ll play with language, loosen perfectionist habits, and open up creative possibilities. While the activity draws from poetry, writers of all genres are welcome. Whether you identify as neurodivergent or are simply curious about more expansive ways of working, this is a space for slowing down, sharing if you wish, and trying things you thought you couldn’t.
