The Nashville AAPI Writers Showcase is an annual event celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander writers in Nashville. Founded by Yurina Yoshikawa, an award-winning writer and the Director of Education at The Porch, the event highlights AAPI voices across fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and other genres. The showcase takes place in May as part of AANHPI Heritage Month, providing a platform for writers to share their work and connect with the broader literary community. The featured writers are part of a group that gathers regularly at The Porch to write together, fostering creative exchange and support.
This event is made possible by the support of API Middle Tennessee.
