This workshop is for writers who find themselves operating outside the mainstream: those who delight in playing with and against form, or who enjoy subverting the conventions of fiction. Great writing can be rebellious, bizarre, and absurdist, and here, we'll celebrate all of the above through selections from writers whose work happens on the edge. Then we'll explore new work of our own using certain generative constraints. Come with an open mind and a desire to get weird!
